Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 27 August 2026
These Terms govern use of www.espilo.co.uk and purchases made through it. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Nothing limits statutory consumer rights.
1. About ESPILO
ESPILO123 The Crossways
Greater London TW5 0JJ
United Kingdom
Email: info@espilo.co.uk
2. Website Use
Use the website only lawfully. Do not misuse it, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with security, or copy and commercially exploit Espilo content without permission.
3. Product Information
We take reasonable care with descriptions, images, colours and measurements. Colours may vary by device. Natural fibres and specialist or handcrafted weaving may result in subtle variation in texture, weave, colour, pattern alignment or finish. This does not limit statutory rights.
4. Product Claims
Descriptions such as cashmere, handwoven, handcrafted or regional/craft references are intended to reflect the applicable product and sourcing information. Specific certification or third-party claims will only be made where applicable.
5. Prices
Prices are shown in GBP unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes and delivery charges will be shown before purchase. Price changes do not affect accepted orders.
6. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. An acknowledgement confirms receipt; acceptance occurs when we confirm dispatch unless we tell you otherwise. We may cancel for genuine pricing/product errors, unavailability, unverifiable payment, suspected fraud or circumstances outside reasonable control. If payment was taken, cancelled orders will be refunded.
7. Payment
Payment must use a method offered at checkout. Third-party payment providers may process payment details. Espilo does not normally store full card details.
8. Delivery
Delivery options and estimated times are shown at checkout or in shipping information. Estimates are not guarantees. You must provide a correct delivery address. Contact info@espilo.co.uk about delays, loss or damage.
9. International Orders
Where international delivery is offered, customs duties, import taxes or other destination charges may apply unless expressly stated otherwise.
10. Statutory Cancellation Rights
For most UK online purchases, consumers have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days from the day after receiving goods, subject to applicable exceptions. After notifying the retailer, consumers generally have a further 14 days to return them. Contact info@espilo.co.uk with your order number and a clear cancellation statement.
11. Espilo Commercial Returns
Espilo currently advertises free returns within 7 days as a commercial returns benefit, subject to the conditions shown on the website or with the order. This does not remove or reduce statutory consumer rights.
12. Returned Products
Where permitted by law, products should be unused and in original condition with packaging, tags and accompanying materials where reasonably possible. You may handle goods only as reasonably necessary to assess them. Where law permits, diminished value caused by excessive handling may be deducted.
13. Refunds
Valid cancellations will be refunded in accordance with applicable consumer law. Where required, standard delivery costs are included; an upgrade to a more expensive delivery service need not be refunded beyond the standard option. Refunds normally use the original payment method.
14. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
Contact info@espilo.co.uk if an item is faulty, damaged, not as described, not fit for purpose or incorrect. Statutory rights are unaffected and the remedy may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.
15. Natural/Handcrafted Characteristics
Subtle variation in natural fibres and handcrafted textiles can be part of their character. This does not limit rights where goods are genuinely faulty or do not conform to the contract.
16. Intellectual Property
ESPILO branding, logos, product names, photography, descriptions, graphics, videos, website design and other content are owned by or licensed to Espilo. They may not be reproduced, modified, distributed, scraped or commercially exploited without permission, except where permitted by law.
17. Reviews and Submitted Content
By submitting reviews, photographs or testimonials, you confirm you have the right to submit them and that they are not unlawful, misleading, defamatory or infringing. Any use by Espilo will be based on the permission and terms applicable to that submission.
18. Third-Party Links
We are not responsible for third-party websites linked from Espilo.
19. Website Availability
We aim to maintain the website but do not guarantee continuous, error-free or uninterrupted availability. Access may be suspended for maintenance, upgrades or security.
20. Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or non-excludable consumer rights. Subject to this, Espilo is not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated or arise from circumstances outside reasonable control.
21. Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, transport disruption, government restrictions, war, civil unrest, major technical failures, third-party cyber incidents or major delivery disruption.
22. Privacy
Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy. Cookies are covered by our Cookie Policy.
23. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on the website. Changes do not retrospectively alter accepted orders unless required by law.
24. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
